Diablo 3 in 2012?

Blizzard has just announced the 1.13 patch incl ladder reset, but read something in the Battle.net forum, so the story is interesting.
How many of you know of a ladder season usually lasts at least 1 year. Bashiok said could now bring in a proposal to a potential Topic Patch 1.14, the additional balance changes.
I think it's widely recognized that some new content for end game is a desired addition. It's not something we could include in this patch for many reasons, but we do have plans to continue full point release patches (ie 1.14). What could those containment is still up in the air, but we have plans. Diabolical plans! MUWAHAHAHAHAHA (Source)
Since we are dealing for major changes, this would not be feasible without a ladder reset. Diablo 3 would be published shortly after a Diablo 2 Patch to reset incl relatively senseless, so that we would be in a full season already 1:14 when a release date of 03/2012.
The hope remains, of course, that there are 2 seasons are short, which together are finished at the latest 10-year-old Lord of Destruction (29.06.2011). Further details will probably only give it to BlizzCon, allegedly on 22 * - 23 October to take place.
