Diablo 3 / Starcraft 2 LAN mode

by on Aug.24, 2009, under Diablo 3 News , StarCraft 2

Blizzard originally had a pure LAN mode for Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2 is excluded. Now relativized Battle.net developer Greg Canessa the testimony presented and the prospect of a network mode that requires only a short key control on Battle.net.

"We are working on solutions with regard to things we can do to maintain connectivity to Battle.net in some way, but that is a great quality connection between Provide players"

This can then continue Lan parties are hoping for Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3, since they do not have the complete traffic to the relatively low bandwidth of the Internet connection.

Of course, both games will continue to have a single player mode.

Hmm, I seriously wonder what Blizzard was thinking it ...

They have "needs" based Internet and be online, so you have the opportunity to gamble on the network ... and if you (from whatever reason) is not getting an internet, but still want to gamble, you're In the ships-OO

It will make it really already almost entirely omitted.

Great great, who want to prevent piracy and loyal buyers to make the "gaming" difficult ... We are more or less loyal buyers punished for creating the pirates pirate.

The only thing missing, the one to can gamble in the single player, even before posting should have a key query on Battle.net. ^ ^ Then would be the "piracy protection" perfectly!

Honestly, me it's disgusting, is not it always when you are on NER LAN party, an Internet opportunity. No internet = No play possible ...

Blizzard seems to be even worse, start now just with this ridiculous "We must protect our products with all kinds of measures against piracy, no matter whether we take loyal customers so in the ass" fuss at ... Next up is probably still "SecuROM" a copy of the CD so that people who have a normal CD / DVD drive but only of torch (or the normal LW is broken), not even installed the game / get started (this fun I had with Fallout 3, and since eighth I keep the copy) ...

I am a huge Starcraft / Diablo fan, but if Blizzard can think of more such junk, I do not think I will buy SC2, (I actually consider themselves Diablo as a pure online game where I would not ... the LAN mode really missing, but there are indeed some of the gamble with friends often like to Lan together ... And it must be having trouble again.

The thing with the Lan makes me quite skeptical, and I fear even before the release ... Who knows what will ultimately get out here, there is the wireless mode, or is there not? Without this "key question" playable or not? And what is to come as a small "emergency measure" to?

When installing the already NEN Lan mode, it should be really "wireless" So ... be used without internet ... What should please bring this otherwise? If we do ne LAN party, we often rent somewhere NEN room with more space, and there's no internet ...

So I'm disappointed really at this point of Blizzard, I would have really not expected, (I think it's about time the "gaming" of the nail is hanging on, in terms of 'pirated' story, the developers turn more and more at the wheel, it makes no fun anymore : (

As the pirates would hold that piracy ... but keep it loyal customers from buying from them is because fewer and fewer antuen anger like!

And still have a great big thank you to all pirates who helped!
