Diablo Pocket for mobile phone / PPC
by admin on Jun.13, 2009, under General
I have just met with Twitter on a nice fan project.
James Beckingham developer has taken the trouble and Diablo 1 ported their mobile phones. The scrolling is somewhat reminiscent of Legend of Zelda 1 - one runs across the screen every few "meters", the screen switches to the next map fragment.
The resolution has yet 640er some performance issues, but for a beta, the project already looks very good.
You need a cell phone (or Pocket PC) with Windows Mobile support that. NET Compact Framework and the file "diabloui.dll" one of the Diablo CD. Copies of the 35 MB easy on your card and get started.

I touch hd and F900 and, unfortunately, is the only game in 2x2cm board to play, not a full screen or the screen size specified in the config.
Board and who knows how I can help mkir "enlarge" the game can, so you can really recognize something.

Hello,
Damien here, the makers of the linked videos ...
Touch HD and F900 is unfortunately not yet directly supported, because it's been interpreted correctly only for QVGA and VGA. Under WVGA but it should run with the WVGAFix3 tool.
A video of the faster and newer 0.3 beta, there is the way of me here:

Hi Damien,
0.3er the version already looks not bad. I'm curious how the project developed yet.
An iPhone version would certainly not bad to the masses (especially in the U.S.) to speak.
